In
the summer of 1997, a new opportunity was presented to Mr. Fagerberg.
He was chosen by award-winning producer/director, Gary L. Foreman,
for the role of Captain John Stark in the Rogers' Rangers
episode of the historical documentary series entitled: Frontier:
Legends of the Old Northwest. Mr. Fagerberg was also an extra
in two of the three remaining episodes; Pontiac's Rebellion
and Tecumseh. This four part series first aired in August
of 1998 on the History Channel. In the spring of 1999, Gary Foreman
began production on another Frontier documentary series entitled:
Frontier: The Decisive Battles. He chose Mr. Fagerberg to
portray General Andrew Jackson for the Battle of New Orleans
episode. He continued his role as an older, presidential Jackson
in the Blackhawk's War episode, and was also an extra in
The Battle of King's Mountain and Blackhawk's War
episodes. This series aired in July 2000 on The History Channel.
